A Danish identitarian organization called Identitær decided to celebrate #InternationalWomensDay by dropping a huge banner from the roof of the Danish Center for Research on Women, Kvinfo. The text saying:”Stop violence against women! #120db Remigration now!”
The Danish identitarian chapter released a statement regarding their latest action:
“For too long have women rights organizations and campaigns like #MeToo neglected the fact, that non-western migrants are massively overrepresented in violent crimes committed against women. A fact well documented not only in Denmark, but in Europe as well. So today, on the international women’s day, Danish activists took to the roofs of the Danish Center for Research on Women, Kvinfo. The goal was to spread awareness and show solidarity with women all over Europe, who are in vivid danger of the imported violence committed by migrants. The hashtag #120db refers to the campaign launched by German women, as a response to the lack of awareness in mainstream campaigns about the crimes committed by non-western migrants against European women. 120db is the volume level of a typical pocket alarm, a device now much too common in Europe.”
Identitarianism is spreading all around Europe and identitarian chapters are spawning in various European countries, one of them, Italy. The Italian chapter of Generation Identity had a similar idea to their Danish comrades, the female section of the Italian chapter launched the #120dB movement in the city of Milan.
The #120db movement, as announced by the women protagonists of the original video, is here to stay and these are just the first actions. We already had various marches in Germany, now 2 actions in Denmark and Italy. Will 2018 be the year of Identitarianism and #120dB?
