Generation Identity Austria Leaders Houses Raided By Police

Generation Identity - Sellner

On Friday 27th of April the houses of Martin Sellner and Patrick Lenart, Generation Identity Austrian Leaders, have been raided by Austrian authorities. According to Sellner’s twitter, an attorney is attempting to outlaw the movement with the members risking 3 years in jail, other GI buildings and offices have been allegedly raided by the Authorities.

Disks and documents were confiscated from both houses, the authorities are looking for proof of “violent intent”. Apparently in modern Europe criticizing Islam in a peaceful way is still dangerous? Right now the situation remains unclear and there will be hopefully soon some developments.

The Austrian Generation Identity members launched a new hashtag #heimatliebeistkeinbrechen, which basically translates into “Loving your homeland is not a crime!”.
