Génération Identitaire Activists Fined 40k € for Occupying the Site of the Islamic Mosque of Poitiers

5 Generation Identitaire activists fined 40k € for occupying the site of the Islamic Mosque of Poitiers

22nd of October, 2012, around 70 French Génération Identitaire activists peacefully occupied the roof of the building site of this Islamist mosque in Poitiers, calling for a referendum on the construction of mosques and immigration. It was one of the earliest actions of the identitarian organisation, born in France and then spread all around Europe.

The court’s judgment is shocking and extremely harsh. 5 activists have been fined over 40k € for the occupation of yet another Mosque on French soil. The french identitarians were the ones who introduced identitarianism in modern Europe. Sons, and daughters, of generations who betrayed them, selling their country to foreign invaders, condemning France to certain Islamisation.

The French identitarians refused to accept this and started to fight back, inspired by the Spartans who held off the Persian hordes in the battle of the Thermopylae, sacrificing themselves if needed for their country and for Europe. The Lambda, the icon chosen by the identitarians, comes from the Spartan shields, a symbol of pride, courage, and sacrifice.

This is an extremely heavy blow for the organisation. The French government has decided lately to crackdown on the Identitarian organisation as much as they can. Earlier this November, the French authorities exploited far-left violence as an excuse to shut down the legal rally organised by Génération Identitaire in Paris denying them their freedom of expression. Once again the European leaders betrayed their people, the same people who would die for their country.

Génération Identitaire Statement on the Situation:

“We have just learned with dismay the decision of the Poitiers Justice Court; it has pronounced an outrageous sentence of 1 year of suspended prison, and more than 40.000 euros in fines against 5 of our former activists. Maxime, Benoit, Alban, Damien, and Julien are accused of organizing the peaceful occupation of the construction site of the Great Mosque of Poitiers in 2012. More than 70 French Generation Identity activists had peacefully occupied the roof of the building site of this Islamist mosque, calling for a referendum on the construction of mosques and immigration.

The lawsuit was brought by the Union of Islamic Organizations of France (UOIF), the French chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood (an Islamist organization classified as terrorist in several countries). By this decision, the justice of our country clearly shows that it has chosen its side; that of the Islamists of UOIF against that of the defenders of France.

After the Islamist terrorist attacks of Charlie Hebdo, the Bataclan, the Promenade des Anglais in Nice and of Marseille, this condemnation of peaceful young citizens warning the French about the danger posed by the development of Islamism and massive immigration, is particularly scandalous. It sends a terrifying signal to all those who courageously denounce the Islamists and to all victims.

Revolted by this decision, the “5 de Poitiers” and their lawyers announced their intention to immediately appeal and fight to the end.”

The French identitarian will recover and fight back. The people, the real patriots who want the best for their country and Europe, will always support them and they shall never surrender.
